using vlans with Multi application oracle server
Dear Sir(s(,

I'd be grateful if you can help to solve the following problem.
In my company's network we are using cisco 2960 as access awitches ,Cisco 3750 (not installed yet) which is planned to act as core switch.
Different PC's on the network are acessing differnt Oracle Apllications (Inventory,Customer Support,...etc) on the same server.
All PC's are on the same subnet, and we need each user to access only his application on the server without being able to view or access other oracle applications on it.
I can categorize the users into different vlans,so that each vlan can access a unique application on the server, but i don't know how to differentiate between different oracle applications on the server.
I tried to use Multi NIC server so that for each vlan can access a unique NIC,but this solution needs a number of NIC's equivalent to the number of oracle application i have, which is not practical .
can you guide me to a suitable solution ?
Thank's in advance.

Re: using vlans with Multi application oracle server
I think that is the work of Oracle, not network.
Let Oracle database to control it.
